Every believer walks into a church gathering carrying two things: a gift from the Holy Spirit and a deep spiritual thirst. According to 1 Corinthians 12, every member is gifted, every member has a role, and every member belongs to the body of Christ. The gifts God gives are not meant for personal fulfillment. They are meant to flow outward, so that others can receive through you. When every member ministers in the power of the Spirit, no one leaves empty. But when members hold back, real people in the community go home without what they came needing. Comparison, pride, and personality excuses are common reasons people disengage, but none of them change the calling. The goal is simple: do not let anyone go home thirsty.
