Psalm 30 reveals how community practices can either limit or expand our experience of God. David's psalm shows us a God who responds simply because we cry out to Him - no special qualifications required. If this psalm truly shaped our communities, we would believe in God's responsive help and create healthier spaces for both testimony and struggle. We would share more stories of God's faithfulness, express bigger celebrations, and practice tougher emotions together. Spiritual disciplines fall into comforting practices that bring joy and challenging practices that promote growth. The goal is adopting community practices that help us experience God's favor and responsiveness more fully.
